Like a garden, some of the entries here are just seedlings, others are more rooted in scholarship and observed practice (saplings), and others represent “old growth” (trees) – well-established concepts and conventions of the past five decades. The goal is to nurture, prune, and connect these many elements to help imagine and enact "next practice" in Arts Management. --- ArtsManaged is an initiative of the [Arts Management Program](https://www.american.edu/cas/arts-management/) at American University in Washington, DC.
